Located in Gulfport, Mississippi, West Harrison High School (WHHS) is a proud part of the Harrison County School District. We are dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive, and empowering learning environment where students are encouraged to excel academically, athletically, artistically, and personally.

At WHHS, we offer a wide range of academic programs designed to meet every learner’s needs and goals. Students can challenge themselves through Advanced Placement (AP) and dual credit courses, explore future careers through Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, and receive exceptional guidance through our Special Services department. Our passionate and experienced faculty and staff work tirelessly to ensure every Hurricane is equipped with the knowledge, character, and leadership skills to succeed long after graduation.

West Harrison High School offers a competitive and inclusive athletic program that inspires teamwork, discipline, and school spirit. Students can participate in football, softball, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, track and field, cross country, tennis, cheer, powerlifting, and more.
